That color is just hot.

Yeh, I've actually have been entertaining the idea of painting the 81 Srambler this color with spice interior and top. In my mind, I can't quite figure out the grafic colors with that combo. Whatcha think?

That might be tough, maybe the blue/white/black that goes with the silver Scramblers stock. I'd be good with just a decent "SCRAMBLER" hood decal and nothing more, though.

This 81 was a base 4 banger with DCR in Colorado and didn't even have fender flares. I was thinking no fender flares when done.

I think a base model with steel wheels, no flares, 29” - 30” tires looks just right!

In my opinion, 31’s start to stick out a bit much for no flares. The 29’s have about 1” poke. And looks good. IMHO

I need to throw my 31’s on the Overlander and take photos. I think I have 29’s on it now. It is currently flareless.

Yeh, that would have been cool. We try to go there every year. Great little get together. A lot of people stopped talk to me about it. Even had to convince one guy, that yes indeed it was a CJ6. He wouldn't believe me. I excused myself from the conversation. Next year the group I run with want put our jeeps in that local car show down the road from Kempton. It's on Saturday the same weekend.

I'M holding onto this one now until springtime. I'm hoping the market gets a little better by then. I have a lot into this one to let it go too cheap. I'm hoping with a new administration and a better economic outcome, people will have a little more spending money. I know its been tough for me to do the Jeep thing for a while, but on a good note, I may get to OHIO and Kempton shows again with this one.

Well, it's been sold. It's going to a museum in PA. It's been a great project and an adventure. Now on to the next one.
