1981 RHD Scrambler build (UK spec)

Have you seen the 'how many left' website? Lists virtually all makes and models of cars in the UK and tells you how many are actually still registered or SORN. I am guessing that all the CJ's etc would come under the Jeep missing model category which is about 700 cars altogether? Great fun plugging in old cars that you have had and seeing how many are still getting around

I have seen it but didn't realise it went back that far, my Cj8 is registered as a Jeep but its type is unknown so yep possibly in the missing section (or it was!)

But that was originally its home... argue that it has already had tax paid 2x... one for coming, one for going... they can't double jeopardy you!

Finally got around to putting some miles on it today, so started by collecting the blue hood which makes it look so much better.
Its such a lazy drive is this one with the straight 6 and the auto, completely different to my Diesel CJ6 which just pulls like a train and would easily beat the 8 in a race, but i will get used to this laziness i am sure it just has a charm all of its own and i really enjoyed cruising around in it today..

Came together nicely. Now it's time to sell and start over. :evil::wave: Being serious for a minute looks like it'll be fun to break in.
 
Dare not ruin lots of dollars worth of stickers so got a professional to put the stickers on, makes all the difference i think!
Scenery isn't quite Moab but hey it still looks blooming good!
