20th SOA National Event

How long does it take for you to get there?

This ones done. Thanks to those who put in the work to make this event happen. I know it takes a lot to put these events on. We had a great time, it was the first time that my wife went out on the trails every day. Thanks to Raymond for letting us follow him around. I counted 51 Scramblers here, I think, plus a few other Jeeps. 47 made the official photo.

Figured we'd have more pics by now?
I was wondering the same thing!! Past years we have gotten play by play throughout the week!! Oh well, guess that just means I need to go next year! Then I can’t complain.

As for the play by play it went like this.
Arrived 3 days early to a park full of side X sides. As they left scramblers started rolling in. It was hot dusty but thankfully the ice kept the adult beverages cool.
By Sunday it was a scrambler take over. Side x sides were hanging their heads low looking at the awesome scramblers.
Monday in full force SOA dominated the park. Still hot and dusty. Only moisture around was the drooling puddles left by the non scrambler’s. . Although excessive no one got stuck.
Pizza night out was great as many attended and rod’s pizza was great. Parking lot full of scrambler’s.
The community cookout was great as everyone brought great things to share. Whoever brought the pork loin that was awesome. Great time catching up with everyone.
Monday hit the trails but the tree cover made things nice. Seemed like we had the park to ourselves for the most part.
Tuesday was more of the same in the park. Total scrambler domination. Tuesday night the tacos were late but not to worry they were delicious when they arrived. Wednesday more park rides and a great meal afterwards. Some really nice raffle items that generated $4,800 for the local fire department and the trail advocates.
Worst part was having to leave our fellow CJ-8 group.
Huge shout out to the board members and everyone involved in making this year’s event a great time.
Hopefully more will join us next year and have an amazing experience
