Glad the pictures are helpful. As for the instructions, I do have the original instructions that came with the top. They came on a single sheet of paper, front and back. The problem with them is their size; they are the common 11" tall but they are about 30" long. I tried to feed them through my scanner/copy machine at work and they got jammed up. They are too big to put on the copy machine as 1 piece, and if I fold them up and make copies it comes out bad. I will try to take them to a copy house in the next few days and get a copy made of the front and back. After that, I should be able to scan them:thumbsup:

I was thinking that our jeeps were about the same height but without a top off mine will fit under a seven foot door and scrub the top of the roll bar but with any other hard top or soft top on I cant get in. What size door are you pulling in?

I will pull some measurements of the Scrambler's overall height and the garage door opening height tonight and post them up tomorrow:thumbsup:

It is nice to just sit back and look at it now, it took a little bit of work to get it to this point:crazy:

Hope everyone enjoyed the thread so far. I am still not "finished", so I will keep updating this thread.:thumbsup:

After "topless day" this Saturday it will be time to take this Scrambler back into the garage for more work. I still need to install the Mopar MPI kit on the 258 ;)
 
Very very nice work! I have referred to your build several times for info and inspiration.
 
I decided to put my "Scrambler" emblems back on the rear quarter panels. I really didn't want to, but I kinda of had to. Before I bought this Scrambler, one of the previous owners screwed these emblems to the body. I told my body guy to fill these holes, but he did not. So, I either had to reinstall these emblems or live with people always asking me, "Hey, what are these holes for on the side of the body tub?" LOL:thumbsup:

Picture of the cleaned up emblems. I put a piece of the 3M tape behind the emblem. Not sure if these are factory emblems or repro's, if they are original it is a shame they had holes drilled through them.

And a picture of one of the emblems installed. It is kind of repetitive having the hood say "Scrambler" and the rear quarter panel saying "Scrambler", oh well. They don't look bad and they kind of help break up the quarter panel.

The emblems were screwed on when it came from Georgia.

As for another "project", I do have another Scrambler sitting in the yard..............................
 
Not really an update, but a picture i took this weekend of the Scrambler. First picture with the decals installed and the top and doors removed.

That really gives me inspiration for mine! I can't remember, did you use a small body lift also or just the RE 4.5"?
