Anyone keep their jeep stock?

You can search around the net and the other forums to find some of the PDF's. I have a hard copy of the 1983 Jeep Accessories document but cannot find the link to the original PDF. There are also original/reproduction sales brochures that you can find on Ebay for less than $20. I have several of those from different years.

Looks like I'm sol on finding out what my original equipment was. No build sheet anywhere they could have put it.

Many times the build sheet was under the passenger (and sometimes driver) seat between the foam and springs. If your original seats are gone then you are out of luck. The trim tag on the firewall can give you quite a bit of info though.

Wasn't under either seat. I'll check the trim tag but people had a habit of adding things at the dealership I guess. The guy I got it from said he had the dealer add the radio and the grille

Trim tag will only tell you drive train/paint/interior codes which can tell you if it was a Base/SR/SL model. Beyond that anything could have been added by a dealer or a PO.

Well that will help. I'm kinda unsure of the interior color. Was there a difference between spice and nutmeg. Mines light tan. Still trying to figure out hardtop color.

Anyone still running these wheels? I may keep them. They're 15x6 I believe so I've got to stick with a narrow tire like a 30x9.5 or similar.

01 is not related to anything, more like a check digit. But your 9B is paint code Olympic White and 6BA is low back beige vinyl seats.

Also the A is base model, meaning the standard vinyl, not denim, and not Laredo. So therefore you probably had a relatively low option first year scrambler, that wasn't a SR or SL, or had graphics.

The dash pad is the darker nutmeg color while the seats are the beige color. I think I've only seen the nutmeg and black dash pads. Is that the right color combo? I've seen pics of other cjs with beige seats and darker pads/door panels.

Is honey the actual term? If so then yes. My seats are definitely lighter than my dash pad

I have a set up like that. Almond seats and honey dash pads and console

I dont think he is thinking that 'cause honey is 85-86 color and he has an '81 with we have determined from his trim code would have had beige seats?
