I’m back in Florida visiting family for Christmas and saw a classic car dealership. Stopped in and saw this beautiful 82. I asked Santa so I will let you know if I find it in the driveway tomorrow morning.

You would think for $50k, they would have used the correct rivets for the VIN tag.

Nice appearance, but for the money, I’d go for the blue one on a TDK frame with a hemi in Tennessee.

Ah, but with the correct vin tag rivets he would have to charge more. He's obviously passing the savings on to the buyer.....

I'm a simple man though: I'd be content just to have that front plate.

Looks like they have a bunch of Jeeps, probably all pricey.

Lots of the Jeep’s they have are ‘restored’ and have the wrong vin rivets.

Just something that personally bugs me, especially on high market price examples. Tells me what level of attention the restorer used while putting it together.

The real problem is they don't hang here and get egimicated.

Love the wood bed treatment. I considered that several times. Just don't know how to effectively keep moisture out from between the wood and the sheetmetal.

Yes and even the VIN tag isn't right, the font and style is off...wonder what happened to the original one....

Agreed. I never understood wood plank truck beds. Between moisture and wear issues, it makes no sense to me. It looks nice, but so does a painted or lined steel truck bed.

My guess, ground up rebuild where original windshield frame was rusted out and at some point replaced but they forgot to grab the VIN off before trashing it. But that is just a guess.

If I was dropping $50k, I’d be looking at this one.
