Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

forum

A local San Diego craft beer.

Thanks! The color is actually Porsche Irish Green, done by the previous owner. Sorta wish he'd picked a true color to the Scrambler, but it does look good.

Can we see some more complete pictures? I'm intrigued by the color.

Since this started as a beer thread, here's me drinking a good ol' Coors with my Scrambler. I think I'd like to someday add the classic scrambler stickers, you think it would be a good addition?

I like that color. I found your earlier pic in the overcast, I was hoping for a full sun shot.

Decals? They would look great, but what color? I'm guessing the light/dark silver.

Starting off the 11 am hour of a four day Labor Day weekend with a 90 minute IPA.

I'm going to the store today to pick out some new beers to try! I just unpacked all my beer glasses so I need something to use them for!

Fat Tire Amber Ale here, it's almost noon. Heading down to Bend once my wife gets home to "restock".

My wife went shopping the other day and picked up some of these for a variety.

Just got done working outside in what feels like a sauna! Now I'm enjoying a "Wake Up Dead" Imperial Stout from Left Hand Brewing out of Longmont, CO. Very good dark beer!

A couple of weekends ago was Bend Brewfest. Great time. And this weekend, "Little Woody" http://www.woodybeer.com/little/
a celebration of cask aged beers and whiskeys. We went last night, and let me say there was some great stuff there, along with some that I thought were plain nasty. Most beers were in the 6-10% ABV range....

My favorites were from Brew Werks, both the "Schizophrenic Stout" and the "Rabble Rouser Red" were awesome, even if they were some of the "lighter" ones there at appx 8%ABV.

But, IMHO, the best flat out was Boneyard Brewing's "Bourbon Barrel Aged Suge Knite"-

This imperial Stout has been aging for 12 months in Heaven Hill Kentucky bourbon barrels. This aging process allows this full bodied stout to pick up flavors from the wood and bourbon blending nicely with the chocolate, carmel and vanilla notes. 13% ABV

Oh Yeah....

We started the night at a new pizza place, and my son and I split a pitcher of 10Barrel "Sinistor" to start the night. Needless to say, I let Carol drive home after several hours of tasting.

Overall view of the party-

Suge Knight...cant even begin to see through the glass, it's so dark. (You got a cool taster glass too, 4oz. It's going to be my new shot glass!)
