Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

Founders around here in Northern Va is about $13 per 4 pack. So about half price.

This one says Bourbon barrel made. I think they left the bourbon in it. Strong flavor but very good.

This is bad when our fridges start sync'n up with the same beer.....

Nice!!!

My guy at the beer store was pushing it pretty hard. It was pretty good, but at $15 a four pack, won't make the fridge every week...

Finally have an excuse to post in this thread...

I never drink anything I can get at home when I travel. A Utah beer consumed in its home state:

Did a perfect job of washing down an excellent steak sandwich.

Enjoying my last two hopslams of the season tonight.

Picked up them up from a Canadian gent off of earlycj5.net about 6-7 years ago. He CNC machined them from thick gauged stainless and patterned them after a early CJ-5 grill. Sadly, i messaged him a couple years ago and he was no longer able to produce them. Luckily I have 4 of them. They will last forever.

I am blessed to live near many great breweries in West Michigan, including: Bells, Founders, New Holland, Odd Sides, and a dozen others.

Man that key chain thing went on forever over at JF

How was the chocolate one? I passed over that one when picking up a few rogues the other day.
Tonight I have an Existent Stillwater Artisanal (?) American Farmhouse Ale. Flat and black. Very nice but not what I expected given the dark, moody label. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1427880259.936502.jpg

The chocolate stout is very good. Just a hint of chocolate. But I am a sucker for a good stout.

Look at all those great Rogue ales! Rogue is probably my favorite brewery. It's somewhat local to me, (3 hrs to the coast), and I try to get there several times a year. They often have "garage sales", with cases of bottles or growlers at unbelievably cheap prices, and cool swag too! Dead Guy is probably my favorite "anytime" beer.

I don't know if any of their "special edition" beers make it too far out of Oregon, but they make some really creative brews too. The Voodoo Doughnut Lemon Chiffon Crueller Ale is one of their more creative ales, sounds weird but is really refreshing.

If you want some really interesting info, sign up for their newsletter. You'll be amazed how much of their ingredients are grown on their farms. Impressive.

Speaking of impressive, so are their spirits, especially their Hazelnut Spiced Rum. Yum!
