Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

I first tried it on a trip to Boston in 2006. Then the next year they started bringing it into VA. I liked it.

Crime...

Holy $@€¥! Does this stuff have some heat to it! Anyone else lucky enough to find this stuff? My local beer monkey asked me if I tried it yet. He had three left, would only sell me one. Said "I save them for my best clients".

My lips and tongue are burning. It tastes and smells like hot peppers.

Wow.

Late posting from Super Bowl but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this imperial IPA comes in at 10% abv and greatness in drink ability.

Reminded me I needed to post this from last weekend. Two new ones for me.

The Ice Breaker was the better of the two with a good full flavor and the Green man was solid but could have used more hop bite for my taste.

Starting the night with an early valentines present for Kate.

We love the normal rogue chocolate stout. This is insane!

Almost picked up some Rogue today. Went with some other stuff. I will post picks later as I drink it.

Wed will be 6 weeks since I went on the wagon as a New Years Resolution to myself.
I ate better, lost some weight, feel better, went to the Dr. etc.

My wife asked me if I was going off the wagon on Wed night.
I said the wagon was going to hit a very large bump in the road and I planned on landing on my head...

Got a six pack of this yesterday and had the first just now. Pretty good stout. Nothing special.

Coal creek black IPA is the best.

After 6 long... very long weeks, I was finally able to enjoy some wobbly pops again... this is what I came home to... SWEET!

chocolate chip cookies as well, but I held off on those, I would rather those calories go towards beer ;)

One of my favorite dogfish styles.

Well being this is a BEER thread,I am in the process of making my first homebrewed beer, started with a recipe kit from Midwest supply and well of course had to tweak it. Started as an American Wheat Ale and it is now going to become a Dark Honey Wheat Ale should turn out to around 11.5 ABV with a bittersweet aftertaste medium heavy body. I shall know if it is EPIC or EPIC FAIL in about 6 weeks!
