Tonight’s offering- a Belgian Quad by Monkless Ales in Bend, OR. This stuff is delicious. Not as heavy as a barleywine, with a nice bit of sweetness and a warming aftertaste. Love it!

Reminds of old Ben Franklin and one of his quotes.

"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy"
Ben Franklin
Years ago a local Jeep club wanted ideas for a new t-shirt slogo. I submitted:

"JEEP is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy".

It was chosen and put on the back of the shirt.

Well, this one sounded good but was a bit too much. It’s really heavy and has a thick mouthfeel, so if you’re a fan of the Barleywine style, this might be for you. 9.5% I had high hopes for this one, but my tastes are evidently changing, and I found it quite overbearing. ‘Nuff said.

This one is a winner. A fruity hazy IPA with delicious taste, a nice amount of smooth hops, and a great all around beer. 6.3% I think the hazy IPA’s are becoming my new favorite. I could see having a few of these on a hot afternoon. Probably be pretty much worthless afterwards, however!8B2B1DFE-4923-421D-8B4A-33DBD90D2F9A.jpeg6E3B79DC-948B-4EAE-8713-8D3FAFF435B5.jpeg

Seem/looks like you should use a silverware to consume it.

It was a lot. We went to Market of Choice in Bend and I grabbed a bunch of cool sounding stuff, plus Costco had that Socks and Sandals. So I’ll be posting up several more reviews in the coming days.

Down seeing my mom with my brother. Hooked up with him in Princeton, MA. Yard work for my mom and two days of good single track in Wharton State forest. A real gem. Another brew from the garden state...20220305_163212.jpg
