Cj-8 Hot Wheels and Matchbox

I saw today that Matchbox is celebrating its 70th year of making miniature cars. Looks like a bunch of new ones coming, even a 747. All will be made of recycled materials including zinc and plastic. There was a JKU/JLU in there too but this is the one I'm excited for :woot:
 
I’ve seen very few Hotwheels on pegs anywhere. It’s been sad.
 
I have also seen quite a few of those 1988 Wagoneers, but they don’t really interest me or suit my purposes.

Has anyone found these in the wild? I would rather buy them from a store, but if I must resort to flea bay. I guess I will. Grrrrrr
 
I caved and bought the new Scrambler one off eBay last week

Sad day when the grocery store has more hot wheels in stock than 2 Walmarts & 2 Targets combined. Most appeared to be last year’s production though. With a few ‘23s mixed in.
 
Search still on. But I did find this at Target.

$25, it is still there. Might have bought it if it had been Reign and no RTT.
 
I get the feeling they just dropped. These looked like a stocker had opened the box and dumped it into the box of loose cars. There were a lot of the cars still neatly lined up like they would be in the shipping box. Both locations looked as though I was the first person to rummage through them.

Both locations, because I found 4 more FCs at Target headed back to the office. No scramblers in that haul.
