CJ10a big block Caddy 500 Rat Rod 😈

Not much progress lately. Ball season and I'm coaching both boys' teams.
Not to mention the ongoing custody battle...... don't even get me started!😡

I do have some time off soon tho..... was thinking about fabbing body mounts or firing up the engine or lowering the front.
 
Lots of little details to work out......
I aquired a couple of corbeau racing seats, but the more i thought about it..... I think I will keep the bench instead(for 1 extra occupant). Any idea how much i should expect that to cost? Never had anything recovered. And what would u cover it with?
I want waterproof of course..... I wonder if i could use something army surplus???

Think I've worked out a deal to get them...
I was thinking they were very "utilitarian". If I like how they look, my CJ10/Postal doors may be for sale again! 😮

They look a lot like the fiberglass doors I picked up over the winter. Except closer to the stock ones with the area for the black and the paddle handle. I like those a lot!
 
Sorry but all I see in those doors is no where far your arm to go
 
i wouldn't even consider getting rid of the original doors.

Looks like an armrest on the inside! 👍🏻
And if i fab up some easy filler panels, i could use ANY non postal door i choose.
 
Don't do it, the original doors are very unique and give the cab it's unique lean back look. Those doors look cheap and plastic.

I would advise keeping the postal doors all
