CJ7 stretched project longer than an 8 from MD / Pirate4x4

Thanks for posting up about this, I searched for quite a while online and In other forums to find anything about it and came up with zero. I will send you a PM and hope to be able to ask you a few questions along the way. I will be using your engine trans, t case, custom exhaust, CJ nose, custom springover springs and most likely the axles once the internals are done or a set of 44s I have for it now. I will extend the frame 30" more to the rear, building open what you have already accomplished , which I assume was 100s of hours of welding and fabrication that I have told many folks here must be seen in person to appreciate. the new owner of the tub has some great ideas for his build too and will use the tub just as it is, finish the cage, and an open air ride with just a long bikini top.

It is not being parted out, but from my preference looks wise, was just a desire to use a pickup style look CJ10a style with a usable long tray back style bed vs the bobbed scrambler look in the build.

I saw the body and the work looked top notch.

Hi, that was my jeep. I sold it about 5 years ago to a guy from Ohio. I came across a picture during a google search for something unrelated. Kinda sad to see it parted out like that. Contact me if anyone has questions.
Would love to see pictures of it being built if you have any. You did a great job for what i seen.. [emoji106]

Howdy All I am the new owner of what I call the CJ 7.5. I will post up some photos as soon as i can figure out how.

So far I have a 1995 yj frame cut and stretched 15 inches. I have all new body mounts on . 4.0 and auto trans in place, hoping to run an Atlas 4.3. I have a dana 300 for mock up. I have leaf springs in the rear and TJ coils up front, working on the 3 link now.

it started by getting it in the garage.

Snapfish apparently makes it impossible to use the photos on that site anywhere else without forcing people to go to the actual Snapfish website so none of the image insertion methods here will work. Sorry.

Would love to watch this happen...

Howdy All
I have not been able to post photos on here, but I I do post on Instagram Kowboy84. I have lots of photos of the build. I am still working on it a little at a time. It will get there.
Today I build the rear axle Dana 60,
Moser axle shafts , Yukon zip locker and yukon gears 5.13, lugnut4x4 rear disc brake kit. I did put armor rap over the sides and covered the boat sides also with 3/16. I went back to a 4.0 power plant, 42re auto Atlas 4.3. These are just some of the thing I have done.

Here's a few of your pictures. A membership will let you attach them as the third party hosting sites have pretty much made it impossible to use them.

I wanted to post up on here about this before venturing over to other forums and I don't even have accounts over there to see so maybe someone on here knows about this thing

Back in August I stopped at Rudys CJs to pick up some not so shippable stuff for one of our forum members. This was siting there and by the end of the day we agreed on a price. It came with many extra parts and a CJ nose not shown and etc. from what I know it was built sometime 07-08 by a guy in MD and the frame was stretched from a CJ 7 1985 but the wheelbase was stretched 6 inches longer than a scrambler and the body stretched accordingly therefore no full tops from an 8 or LJ stuff will fit. There is a 2001 4.0 under the hood with new 5spd and stainless custom exhaust. The body is boatsided and the weld and fab work is exceptional. The frame is completely slab sided with reinforcement kit the entire length. The frame was mint to start with.

My current plan is to possibly sell the body tub keep the frame for a CJ10-a tug cab with a Australian style 10' tray back style bed and eliminate the bobbed look but I really just want to see if anybody knew about this thing and comments or suggestions and to share it first on the best jeep forum on earth
