Fellas - I'm embarking on a 10 hour trek from Harrisburg, PA to Atlanta on Friday 24 March. I'm hoping all goes smoothly with my freshly restored 8. However, if you are located somewhere along I-81, I-77 or I-85, it would be nice to have some contact phone numbers for any unexpected mishaps. If you're willing to take in a broken down Scrambler driver, next Friday evening, I would dial you up. Between 19 March and 23 March I will be out of town. I would appreciate any PM's with phone numbers, just in case. I'll call along the way to let you know I have passed your check point. Thanks for all the support, I'll report back upon my return.

I need to get my truck and trailer to Atlanta. We might be able to work a deal where I can meet you up towards Richmond and have you trailer your scrambler down that way for just dropping it off in Marietta.

It is already set up to tow.

Let me know then all you would have to do is get down here to Va and we could load you up.

welcome to dive a bit south via I77 and then hit I20 to Atlanta if you wanted. I'm only off I20 about 1 mile.

He left here about 6:30 pm headding for Charlotte tonight with the Scrambler on my trailer.

No issues with the Jeep. He just wanted to be able to ride inside and it probably was going to be a very long ride for that just rebuilt engine.

It is a nice ride. Pretty well done, but lacking in a few areas that we discussed. I did not realise exactly how thin that replacement sheet metal was. And I think that there was more rust on the original body than the rebuilder had originally lead him to belive. All in all it should be a very good ride for the type of wheeling that he will be doing for the next few years.
