You consider that a basket case?
I wish I could pick up something like that locally. They are getting much harder to find. Either they are somewhat restored and stupid expensive or you could kick it and the frame would snap in half. (I've done this more than once).

No clue really. I might try to unload the bits worth $$ to get my investment back, then decide what to do with the rest.

Take a closer look at the underside pics. I need to start to dig into it and figure out what is good and what isn’t.I always thought when you called one a basket case, it would be one like cb hauls to the dump and sweeps it off the trailer floor. Or at least 30 % of it. I see miles of trails left on that one.

Not sure where it was before MD, but yeah, we get rusty crap here too.
Second owner of this ‘83. Daily driver (work ride) for several years. Frequently used for several more and then rarely driven for the last 5 or 6 years. We got the urge to put it back in regular use and have been making upgrades and repairs. Took the hunting dog out in it this morning.
