I'll do a short trail report soon, but yesterday was one of the kind of days why I own a Jeep. Awesome!

I’m just a parts monkey though trying to make a living selling parts , so don’t ask me about the J-10s they aren’t mine and that dang Overlander I stumbled upon in 2011 is on lockdown as I am still making payments on it..

This is already posted in my build thread, but it’s still the latest photo; right after cleaning and installed the 401 and V8 emblems. Lately, all my pics are of the ZJ.

I have been daily-driving the Scrambler though, so that’s nice!

It really BUGS me that the PO installed an antenna mount on the drivers side!!! WTF were they thinking???? No great way to correct this.

Good Lord. As stunning as this scrambler is, it's a flaw which can be forgiven. Beautiful. Love it.

My 2 favorite CJ8s.

First up is this 82 copper brown. Flew in to Olympia, WA and drove her home 24 hours straight. This one sold new out of Tucson, AZ (where I live), so I had even more attraction to it and had to get it.

A few months later I found this garnet 84 CJ8 also in Olympia, WA. In fact it was under 1 mile away from the person I bought the copper one from. Showed the owner a photo of the copper one and he said he never saw it around town. I also flew in for this one and drove her back to Tucson, but stopped to spend the night at an old Marine buddy's house who I had not seen in years so that was a double-win trip! I purchased this CJ8 from the original owner and has somewhere around 40k original miles on it. Auto, tilt, clock and tach. I asked the seller about the hood decals and he said they were missing when he bought this new off the lot. Maybe someone asked for them to be removed prior to purchase then backed out of the sale? Who knows...another life mystery.
