Holy smokes I can’t believe I came back from the dead 5 years ago then apparently died again. Seems like only yesterday I reconnected with this fine forum. I’m not real good at this to be honest. Too easily distracted with work and other stuff.
I picked up a J20 a couple of years ago which will be the replacement for Farmtruk (CJ10) that I’ve never been able to get over selling. The J20 will be my wife’s and my camping truck complete with fridge, kitchen, swags, etc and we’ll take this when we want to get out in the bush or the beach for a few days. Longer trips will be a caravan or trailer behind our Ram.
Anyway, I have some outrageous news that some of you might find interesting. I can’t share it just yet, I have to get a couple of things sorted first but once they’re done I’ll be here with the details.
I saw "gazzo" and was like... no way... welcome back!
Glad to hear things are good... looking forward to the news.

G'day Gaz,

It appears I've joined the site since your last post so this is the first I have seen this thread. That's a great looking AMC fleet you have. I might have known you were from Free-o.

I am from Adelaide originally but live in the US now. It's good to see they are still letting you ride around without your doors. In WA. Big Brother in South Australia has stopped allowing that, so we need at least half doors. But at least we still have the Crows.

I look forward to catching up on your thread and seeing more posts.

Go the Dockers!

OK so, about my news. You all know the two vehicles in this website’s banner? Well I got that exact OL. I didn’t want to say anything here until it was tucked up all nice in my shop, which I’m glad, to say it is. My Jeep buddy and I took a 5000km round trip to pick it up.
It had all manner of bolted on stuff, running boards, LPG fuel system, rear shelf, second battery setup, all kinds of crap, even the original aluminum front bar had been added to. That’s all gone now though. What we left on the CJ are aux fuel tank, water tank (yes you read that right) and we fitted a correct front bar.
It has OE triangle bags in the roll bar, full original carpet in excellent condition, lots of gages, NO RUST, and, here’s the fun part, a 360 with auto trans. This thing is in amazing condition having been fussed over by its owners who kept all the receipts for parts and for work done over the years.
Rear axle has been trussed, suspension is lifted I’d say 2” at the shackles as the spring packs have many leafs. Rides like a Limo.
As you guys know I already have an Overlander and my partner in this project has two so this one will be going back Stateside. Walton might advise if I need to put details somewhere else on this forum rather than this thread, let me know
So here it is:

So here it is:
Good to hear from you again.
The thing looks great.
Is the "stateside" location already determined, or is it up for discussion?
