Do you have any other photos of the bed? I have the prototype step side bed from the manufacturer that made 25 for AMC. Mine is a galvanized bed box & tailgate with the remainder one piece sides/fenders/ends. this looks like it from what I can see.

The gazzp posted ones fenders look more squared off compared to the 80-83 production one.

And there's no step in front of the fender. My brother in law seeing it today maybe. He lives NEXT DOOR! :headbang:

Thought we'd take the young fella out for a burger and the wife said "can we take Farmtruk?" Yep. Gotta love a 60/40 seat! I've never ridden 3 abreast in a CJ before.
Anyways some guy with a GCSRT pulled in near where we were sitting, locked his rod then walked inside. He came running back and moved it somewhere else. So when we walked out I saw where he'd moved it toimage.jpg
Over on JF there's "A new thread on winning". I think I won that one although I'm partial to those little monsters

Love the Farmtruk! I had to zoom in (on the phone) to see the family sitting in there. Sounds like a good night.

Brother in law looked at it for me Buzz. That is an old photo and paints a pretty good picture. Unfortunately the goodness stops there mate. Rusted floors, stripped out dash, NO compliance plate, NO vin on the chassis blah blah blah. The back is a tipper and as such is not original. The rear end has been remade so no Jeep tailgate or tail lights. I think it's a bust. Certainly not a 12k exercise.

So finally the time has arrived, I turned 51 last week and with that came a slight change in taste for my Renegade. I'd been planning a return to "stock" for some time and hanging out with you dudes fuelled my respect for original looking CJs.
I got the original rims blasted, metal sprayed (molten zinc) then powder coated.
Picked up a set of Crown flares a year ago and just recently started researching tyre sizes. 32/11.5/15 seemed to be a pretty nice combo and the way my CJs twin is set up in PA namely Keith460's amazing rebuild. I'd been contemplating new 31/10.5 All Terrains but it seems the KO is no longer made and I'm not partial to all the stuff on the sides of the replacements, KO2.
I flicked in to Gumtree and top of the list today were these 4 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1471599631.380975.jpg on generic white spokes. $350.
Got them all tore off and mounted on my fresh Waggies and there you have it!

I gotta say I think it looks pretty smart. Quite peppy too with the slightly smaller tyres

Thanks guys, much better. Yes I'll stripe them, just haven't dug into how that will happen yet. They definitely need it, whole lot of white there.
The Laredo seats were in it when I bought it. I got it in 96 from the family of an Italian man who'd passed away. He'd put 70,000km on it in 12 years. My guess is being Italian he liked the sound of Italian Purse and optioned them in.
