Not sure how many of you are insured through hagerty, but I just received an email saying that they are estimating the value of my Jeep has increased by $5k from last year.

It depends on if you have a stated value or one that was book value... my stated(agreed) value is more than it is worth, and that is just because you can't replace these for the book value.

Hagerty insured my Oldsmobile 442 for 120K but would not touch my scrambler

That must be what it is. I have a stated value on mine as well.

I have mine insured for $25,000. I had them up it last year by 5k and they didn't even hesitate.

I can drive my hot rod year round No miles limits but do have to list only people allowed to drive it.

No limits. However, if you use it other than the stated purposes and try to make a claim you won't get anything.
NO wheeling... that is the big one.

Looked back at my denial email
It states extreme oversized tires and radical suspension changes 😂😂😂

Thinking about it that is lame as my Oldsmobile has 980 hp complete Detroit speed tubular suspension and bigger tires
Seems to be double standards there

I’m sure it’s all about risk and negatives

Is Hagerty aware of the modifications to the Olds? We’re they only provided a photo? If not aware of the modifications, they could claim that as grounds for denial of coverage. But, don’t take my opinion, I am not an attorney.

Hagerty actually came and appraised it and put the value on it

Yea Hagerty has been very pro messing with your cars. I'm curious if they've changed something and now would cover your Scrambler
