K, the VIN # indicates the 258 as well. Could a 304 option been ordered from the factory '82? Even if they stopped in '81? And even so would this have been depicted in the VIN # with an H.

Nope, No Scrambler (that we know of) left the factory with a V-8.

Thanks!! Just wanted to double check. I am going to update profile and add pics. Should be a long but fun process of restoring this one!

Can anyone tell me what this extra firewall badge is? It has letters and a hole punch in it etc.
