The one upside of not being able to find a tan full soft top... In searching for them via Google, I ended up here!

Big Mark steered me here when I had my 8, and now I just check in periodically while I'm keeping my eye out for the next cool Scrambler deal.

Just during the course of everyday conversation my wife asked me this question: "if you could have ANY car you wanted, what would it be?" Even tho I had never thought of buying a frequently problematic rust bucket of a non functional family car, she suggested that I get one. Two googles later I was lurking about...

Thank God for wonderful women.

I am glad that money has nothing to do with it as I am getting a little  with Google. It would be nice to actually find what you are looking for.

I found it thru Google. Even though it was not top listing, after a few visits and feeling the "love" on here, I felt it was the right place to spend most of my Scrambler time (along with eBay:D ). Since I work overseas, it is a good way for me to keep up with what's happening.

I bought my Scrambler from someone who replied to a post on this site. It was his first (and only) post. So, it worked our for both of us.

Thanks,

Joel

google placement is coming back

our google placement for cj-8.com for keywords "jeep scrambler" and "cj8 scrambler" etc appears to slowly be coming back.

Its showing in top 5 results now. And check out the traffic increase from google over last 3-4 months.

Its interesting too to look at the report and see what keywords people are using to find the site.

Looks like it's time for somebody to go into the Scrambler Roll Cage business! It sure would be nice to be able to buy a full, "weld together" kit -- that's well designed, all-inclusive and priced right.

Trail Junkie on here just got his cage done in west MI by a local shop (www.speedfixx.com). Can be seen in this thread below. I dont know how easy it would be to ship something like this knocked down though...

Yeah, I talked to those guys -- and I'll probably have them do mine when I'm ready.

There are a lot of "custom" solutions out there. Seems like if the #1 way people find our forum is while searching for a full CJ-8 cage that there'd be a market.

Source Traffic

some more interesting data.. Here is the source of where the traffic is coming from.

Snapshot of this is from jan 1, 2008 to current

I think Craig has most of those Michigan visits by himself :rotfl:

just yankin' your chain Craig.

Shoot, I just realized with Eric up there as well now...they will always have hi traffic

where does eric live now?

we must not forget that mr walton lives in michigan now too. I'll bet if I looked at stats before christmas, michigans might be a little bit lower and North Carolina would be a bit higher. :rotfl:

EZ Board through a search engine....

When I decided to buy a Scrambler, I couldn't find one locally. (Massachusetts at the time.) The few I came across were rust buckets. I had no Idea how scarce they were. So, I turned to the internet, typed in a few keywords, and came across the old EZ Board version of this site.

I actually bought mine on Ebay and before I picked it up someone from this forum wanted to know about it. I then came here and posted the info about it.
