Looking for a good shop manual for 2012 Jeep JK Wrangler

Oh
I know some guys work on the newer wranglers. I've always been in the older cj group. I have a niece that's going to get her grandfathers 2012 wrangler. He passed and I've been elected to make the wrangler safe for her. I can't find a factory service manual anywhere. Even Bishko's last year for the wrangler it 2008. I've found on ebay a Mopar Tech Authority cd that is claiming has the info of the factory service manual. Not looking for cheap, looking for the factory manuals that I have (like my 1979 and 1982 shop manuals). What are you guys using and last question is, I'm going to be towing the jeep with a dolly. Do I have to remove the rear drive shaft or something like put the trans (auto) in neutral and transfer case in neutral. What combination so I don't damage the bearings in the transfer case. Jeeps in good condition besides the normal maintenance of tie rods, drag link, ball joints, u-joints, shocks, etc. Any info on a simple thing like a good manual would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Interested to know, I don't have anything for our 2018, either.

I don’t think printed manuals are a thing anymore. I have a CD with all the documents in the techstream for my Tundra. Most dealerships are using a subscription system that keeps the data up to date and the tech can look up the most recent revision of a procedure.

Best suggestion is to buy one of the bootlegged CDs off e-bay. If you want an official version, you will need to find the subscription service and pay the fee. Some services allow for a 30 day access payment.

On the right side, click “Aftermarket” to get the service shop access list.

I believe manuals ( books ) are just about gone. About 20 years ago my company bought an optical jukebox to scan and store ( library) all paper manuals that were coming in for all the equipment that was purchased to make it easier for the engineers to find what was needed. Within a few years it was obsolete because no manuals were coming in with new equipment. Even requests for cd manuals were hard to get.

Was trying to find a cd like I have for the 82 manual. Bishko stopped at 2009. I purchased the mopar one (the one people are having trouble running on the newer windows computer. When it gets here I'll let you know if I can get it to Run. Rockauto also has a cd from another source which I also ordered. Amazing how something so simple and necessary gets overlooked.
