MDJuan Tubs

Rommel, glad to see the bulkhead made it, hope it helps out. I am looking forward to getting my shipment of parts in.

Hi Donut. It's still on aboat to Manila. I took that picture in Pennsylvania. If not for anything, it will surely help us in the measurement of the tubs from side to side :)

I talked to Craig at quadratec this past weekend at the York jeep show and he mentioned that he had recently sent you an original windshield frame so I didn't give him mine. Please note that we would like to see them made with no rib by the wiper pivots and even better reinforced in that area (without seeing any change on the outside from original) and also a single rib design. See comments earlier in the thread :) I think if you can make these affordably and as exact as originals and not the thin gauge flexy double rib aftermarkets out there now it would be another great product

Got mine today. I was expecting a t-shirt. Was really surprised to find a really nice button up shirt. Thank you Rommel, I will were with pride.

Just received mine. Awesome shirt! Those attending the 6th Annual Sand Blast at Silver Lake Sand Dunes next week will get to see it in person.

Thank you!

Got mine, too! I'll send you a photo from Sand Blast, Rommel. Awesome shirt!

Just got home and my shirt was here! Thanks Rommel, and the whole M.D. Juan team!!!!

Got mine too, same thing here, thought it would be a t-shirt, it's really different, very cool!

hey guys, the deal is you should post a picture of yourself wearing the shirt on this thread or it will self destruct! :) lol

I've been told that scrambler windshields are different because of their double rib design. What do these ribs look like exactly?

I have been looking for a replacement windshield as I need one desperately. The PO must've hit a tree or something because it's off by at least one inch which makes it's a real pain to shut the doors, secure the top, or fold the windshield down and secure it. If you do indeed make them Rommel, count one sold!

Pics of the shirts

Got mine today too! Amazing quality, thanks again Rommel! For those interested in what they look like:

It's not a scrambler thing but a CJ thing... :)

Somewhere along the production of model years 83 and 84, jeep added a single rib to the w-frame as a reinforcement down near the seal. The last CJs off the line also had the single rib. Then later replacements and wranglers for that matter had two ribs, the second one between the pivots.

82 with no rib:

84 one rib:

Everyone can post pictures.

Any ETA for the newly redesigned tubs?

I am going to take my tub to a few local body shops tomorrow to see if it can be salvaged but if I can get a new MD Juan one within a year I might just go that route. My tub has almost zero rust (came from New Mexico) but does have some metal fatigue issues.
