New Full Hardtop Install

Thanks, I do really like the look of it as well.

I am very happy with my extreme top as well. My only real complaint is that it sits very close to the top of the roll bar. While driving with the windows down, the top flexes up and down, hitting the top of the roll bar and making a hell of a racket. Opening the back windows solve the problem, but still a PITA!
Maybe a couple shock bushings or some weatherstrip between the roll bar and the top?

CJ7s had a rubber block on top the the roll bar (with hardtop) probably for that very reason.

I was planning on experimenting with some weatherstripping….. shock bushings might work even better. Until I get some time to experiment with it, I’ll keep the windows up and the AC on. 👍.
thanks for the suggestions

Like @Kim Dawson says maybe you need a roll bar snubber like the factory used 😉
