jeepdreamer - Yes, I bailed on this project for several reasons. Ultimately, I ended up going through a nasty divorce and ended up selling the biodiesel processor to help pay the thousands and thousands and THOUSANDS of dollars in attorney bills (didn't come close to paying them off, though 
). Actually, I just got a biodiesel newsletter today, and the price of waste oil is skyrocketing due to newly-implemented tax credits. It said $3.30 a gallon for used WVO is the "market price". 
Ridiculous. It makes me glad I got out of it when I did, considering i was producing biodiesel for $0.85-0.90/gallon.
Honestly, the SD-33 is grossly underpowered. I planned on using it out of practicality. If I were to restart a project like this, I'd look at a 6.2 or 6.5L GM motor instead. I had an old Suburban with a N/A 6.2, and it had great power, despite what you read from some folks on the web. I wouldn't use an SD-33...they're anemic for anything other than low-range stuff.
I'm now sporting a 2008 Civic Hybrid in lieu of the biodiesel-powered DD. I named it "Green Redemption" for obvious reasons.
On the Jeep front, I'm building a 2-dr. XJ with my 11-year-old daughter, and putting 1-ton axles, 37" tires, high-clearance skid plates, etc. under my '05 LJ. It'll be "in-the-works" for a while...time & money. Time & money.
