Newest Addition to the Herd...

It was down by Grants Pass, OR

So glad I didn't see that first. I would have had to find a way to get it. I'm really glad it's yours.

I think some of the best surviving Jeeps come out of Oregon.

I agree! I think Oregon is overlooked a lot but there are a lot of nice, rust-free vintage 4x4's out there! And, they are usually not sun burnt like a lot of southern CA, AZ, NM, and TX vehicles!

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm still loving this thing! I did have a little scare and thought the transmission went out on me but turned out it was just the transfer case in neutral! I felt stupid and happy at the same time! Had time to give it a nice hand wash today:

I've only done that a half dozen times over the years. Usually just enough time between to forget how I "fixed" it the last time my transmission went out.

Sweet ride! There's an orange one very similar to yours running around the California/JC area.

Wow, I've never seen another one in this area! I know of a few Wagoneer's running around. I'd love to see that one sometime!

Beautiful day to work on the Jeep! I had to work on the door gaps and alignment of the two driver's side doors. Got them working better but the rear door still sits in too far and isn't as flush with the body as I'd like. Moving the catch plate further out makes opening the door difficult. I can live with it for now. I also pulled the wheel center caps and polished them up. They are nice driver quality but they do have some minor pitting. They will be fine considering I'm planning on driving this thing a lot! I pulled out the old 1-Shot pin-striping paint and made the centers look new again. I will let them dry over night and get some more pics when I reinstall them tomorrow.
