Thanks jim. It has definitely gotten a lot better then when i started.
 
Driver side floor done and rocker all cut and fit. Painted everything that is going to be covered up with weld through primer. Hope to get the side all buttoned up Thursday. Sure will feel good to turn that thing around and get going on the other side. However i am not looking forward to the amount of grinding that is ahead of me.




 
Started cleaning up some welds on the floor and got the side panel welded on most of the way just need to plug weld the floor to the side. A few more small patches and some holes to fill and i think the drivers side will be as good as its going to get with my skill set. The side panel even came out pretty straight.

 
Drivers side all closed up. Repaired the body mount on the pass side before i spin the tub around. Aslo go the pass side rear fender brace fixed up this morning.




 
Still plugging away in this. I started the pass side and have the A piller complete and have stared on the B piller and floor area. I hope to have most of that done tomorrow if I dont get held over at work. Only a few more patches amd I think ill have the rust demon at bay for now.

The plans have changed a little I am hopeing to get the welding done and set the tub on the frame to get it out of the way. The 7 is then going to take a back seat to the 8 as I am hoping to get that together for nationals. Well heres hoping I can pull that off.
 
Getting close now. Have most of the B pillar area welded up and the rear corner has been patched. Have to get two more pieces in the B pillar area, the support between the side and the wheel well, and one more body mount and then just a bunch of grinding and I think we can put this chapter to bed. I hope to have the welding done tom if all goes well. I've been a little lax on the pictures but here are a few.



 
Ill be there from about 11 to 4pm then i have to get prepped for work on Saturday.
 
If I come home that way, early enough, I would like to stop in and see how you're doing, maybe I can take some pictures for you and load them on here for you

Well oscar has been put to bed for a while. Moved into the tent to make room for the scrambler. Its been a long time since ive seen the tub on this frame.

Dragged oscar out of hiding and down to jepperdds place to see if we can breath life into him in 2 days. Got a decent start.
