Update, we are now laying the foundation block! And yes we are doing it ourselves.
Not super efficient but we do get the job done and it looks pretty good.
Only the top block will show once landscaping is complete.

While I was at 4x4Land the weekend of May 1 dad and another local volunteer got the supports built.

Now time to sit her down! Really went pretty well!

Very cool. My wife and I hope to buy an old farmhouse one day. They don't build them like that here in Colorado.

Been awhile, just a little update.
Very slow with the progress, trying to do most work with volunteer labor and as donations come in.

Land scaping

Reworking the windows and siding.
We scavenged old siding from some old houses around town that are to be demoed.

Did not realize the picture link in my last post was not good.

The old school house has come along ways.

The bell is not original to this school but is from a different near by school.

Will you still be donating 2 of them to the SOA. You donated 2 to the SOA some years back but didn't follow through.

Couple weeks back we delivered some sheet rock to the school. 12ft long sheets suck!

Nice to see our history preserved. I am in school building construction and so often old buildings are torn down for new ones because it is cheaper.
