Photo size limit issue fixed

try again now someone... made another configuration change.

Worked on the first pic but went and tried one that I know was rejected before and it got rejected again. Maybe some on my phone are just still way too big.

I played a bit and anything that was 12mp or smaller would post.

Ok- this is 13 MP and it worked.

I had no problems before getting the new IPhone. The new camera creates huge files. And I haven’t figured out how to make a lower resolution copy to post.

Try turning off “live” when taking photo, little circles upper right in camera. Others may have good ideas…

Yeah, my iphone 15 is the same. I tried turning live off before but did not help. But after what Eric changed, I will try it again.

I’ve got mine set to “live off” as its default. To post a pic here I need to take a picture larger than I want and then crop it down. I’m pretty sure it’s a function of total pixel count.
 
I ise an app called Phot Size to bring the pixel size down of pics if needed. And guess what? I did ot have to use it for this screenshot.

The software has a config limit set at 20MP

XF 2.2 - iPhone 15 Pro Photo Uploads - "The uploaded image is too big"

Myself and a few users on my phone who have upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro have found we can not attach photos to the forum. They just error with "the uploaded image is too big". I have increased the max uploaded_max_filesize and post_max_size to 128M and adjusted the Maximum attachment file...

This is going to continue to be an issue as phones produce larger sensor cameras.
