Possibly five (5) postals for sale

I missed the October part....I wonder if there is anyone else with some postal doors that they are not using...so hard to find someone with a postal who is not using the original doors....I really need to find someone with three photos of their postal in their signature block...three photos without original doors....I just don't know where to look?

I will take a top and doors. I would be willing to put a deposit till she can get to shipping it. Lmk

He said it would be October *shrug*

Would love to see these saved as whole Jeeps :fingerscrossed:

I agree with BW. These postals shouldnt be parted for the top and doors.

I'd hate to see them parted out as well, unless they are just too far gone....in which case, I'm hoping the glass in the windows hasn't completely rusted out....

Aww, part it out throw it out, I have seen no responses from the "owner" since the original post so I seriously doubt this will go anywhere.

^^ This. ^^

Everyone should chill. I have no further details. I'll update the thread when I know something. Nobody should be holding their breath. I just wanted to A) notify the community that they may become available, and B ) verify that somebody might be interested. Once details are known, I'll update the thread and post an appropriate for sale thread. None of these are mine.

I would be interested in buying all 5 as they are complete, My mom lives in Oregon so I can store them there pm me
Thanks
Bert

Pics of owner? Even if she is married, I still need to know what to look for.

I haven't seen the owner since the beginning of October, plus I've been incredibly busy on weekends and haven't had my own Jeep time, let alone time to get out there and get these documented. As promised, I will create a new thread once I have details.

UPDATE: I saw her at the club meeting on Monday. Bad news (and good news for those inquiring about her relationship status): she's going through some difficult times at the moment, which means this will be delayed probably until at least the spring.

In the meantime, the postals got moved around between two properties, one of which she doesn't really have immediate access to anymore. She needs to get them back onto her own lot, but since none of them run, we have snow on the ground, and at least two of them will need to be manipulated around a septic system that was installed after they were pushed into their current location, recovery just got more difficult. Several of us in the club have volunteered to help her get them onto trailers and moved, but without going into personal details I hope you can appreciate that she's got bigger issues she's dealing with at the moment.

Oh, and she's cute, very petite, late 20s early 30s, she comes with a beautiful little girl, was trained as a mechanic by the Department of Defense, grew up in Alaska, and loves all things outdoors. (hint hint)

And she's single!? After that post, not for long.

^^^^ that right there. The guys in the club and the rest of the eligible males in AK must be lined up.

Volunteers indeed, I bet the scene to volunteer resembled a table of cheap TVs at WalMart just as the doors opened on Black Friday.

Someone has to do it....

:needpic:

and her phone number!

I think buying just the tops is a nifty idea, and I may be game for that even though I don't use a top much. Is there anything else desireable about a postal that is unique to other CJ-8s besides the top? Placing that unique top on a regular CJ-8 would eliminate the highly undesireable right-hand steering issue.
