So you’re buying the red one? A 2 Scram-Fam! I love it!

Only thing better than one 8, is 2. Only thing better than 2, is 3. Only thing better than 3 is a hoarder (or is that a collecter?).

So, I guess that means blue is not "your last build"?

Yeah, that whole 'last project' thing is out the window, though this is a lesser undertaking. Just going to make some tweaks to it for now until JPSK8 is further along, then decide which one is getting the world cab...I keep waffling back & forth. Going to start a new thread for the red one...

I vote world cab on the blue one, but I'm a little biased. That would require re skinning the jump seats (unless you dont plan to use them and want to sell em).

If you put the world cab on the red one it would need to be sprayed with a liner to match (I personally do t like that, but that is just my opinion). The jump seats would still need to be re skinned, unless you reskin the driver and passenger seats to tan.

The red one looks ready to roll around the island, so I'd just use the heck out of it as is.

That's the way that I'm leaning. It's already a mish-mosh of different vintage & model parts. My only trepidation is that I spent good money having that rear seat custom upholstered. Jump seats need to be reupholstered regardless of which one they end up in. Do you know if they fold up? If they do, then that could potentially work out.

I definitely don't want to bedline the top to match. I will most likely sand the liner off at some point & repaint once the blue one is up & running & the world cab could be done at that point to match. It has no rear seat, so not taking a loss there.

Exactly. She's ready to roll...ran her up & down the highway for about two hours on Monday on my shipping misadventures (booking agent neglected to tell me that since I was buying my own container & loading in other stuff that I couldn't take it directly to the port). Just going to make a few tweaks (tie-rod flip & get rid of the drop pitman arm, swap my RE springs on in place of the Rough Country's, etc) to make it a little nicer & put my stamp on it.

Regarding the jump seats and foldability, check with Jeff Scherb. He had jump seats in his jeep with a world cab. I don't think he is active here, mostly Jeep Forum.

I am 99.99% sure the factory seats you have do fold.

Did you get them from Venezuela?

Yes, I got them from Venezuela. I'll look for Jeff over on Jeep Forum. I suppose worst case I can just replace the bottom cushion bolts with removable pins & pull them when I don't need the troop seating.

My crates from OH finally arrived last week (long, ridiculous journey...didn't even leave OH until late January, then sat in FL for two weeks followed by a 1 week boat tour of the Caribbean). All of my larger shop tools & Scrambler parts that I didn't have time to bolt on were in there.90146377_10219240701307006_1184981172023721984_o.jpg

I figured you would have something for the wind with maybe 130 ft blades that spins :)

Hopefully I'll be wrapping up the upstairs renovations by the end of the month & then can concentrate on setting up the shop space & getting to work on the Jeeps. The CJ-7 that's still in Ohio has been scattered to the four winds (dip stripper, body & paint, engine rebuilder, trans rebuilder) so I'm just general contracting that remotely. Grandbaby #2 (Artemis) arrived in July, but thanks to the pandemic, we were unable to go visit.110281663_10220512572462990_3575734971705581590_n.jpg115805182_10220561450364907_8979033423603987825_o.jpg116076517_10220562448109850_8137202172781167396_o.jpg116876659_10220628048349815_4341007424205951178_o.jpg111135380_10220516291595966_6176271869762005861_o.jpg118781943_3733381310022929_2735072016751231975_n.jpg

Did a quick Covid run with the Jeep club on Sunday. None of the CJ guys made it out & my wife was getting jealous because everyone wanted to talk about the Scramblers instead of her JLU other than a brief comment about the new lift & tires. I was going to try to get ScramBRO ready to go on Saturday, but it kept pouring down rain & I wasn't up for wallowing around in the mud to work on it (TV adjustment is out of whack, wasn't redone when the Weber was swapped on...since we were going to the north shore & then west I knew we'd be up in the steep stuff which is not the place for a trans that isn't adjusted properly...probably would've smoked it 15 minutes into the drive). We ended the outing at a bar/billiards spot that's owned by two of the club members (he's a champion billiards player; me, I just stunk up the place :ROFLMAO:). Working on the house this weekend, so maybe next weekend I'll get some Jeep time in. Keep left (y)119973542_10218267796275285_5005369784731488059_o.jpg119983128_10218267773754722_1746724596291020226_o.jpg

Island time got me again, but I finally got a good & quick contractor for the last leg (plastering) and even had him go on and do some other work for me (landing, stairs, concrete pads) that I was going to do next year. I'm at the point now where I can do one day of house stuff & have a 'free' day. Still have a few parts coming in for all three Jeeps. Aaliya already claimed 'free' day to go exploring this weekend, we've got another Jeep club Covid run next weekend, and she's tired of the reclining loveseat with armrest/drink holders in the middle & made me buy a new sofa which means I'm going to have to do some demo downstairs to fit the loveseat down there, so I think I'm just going to resolve to make 2021 the year of the Jeeps instead of fooling myself into thinking about going to get anywhere with the balance of 2020. :ROFLMAO:119201918_10220947672660223_8840121105321186972_o.jpg125482042_10164360681970111_2946654930837295150_o.jpg128512088_10221493894315423_5729497476950140825_o.jpg128388655_10221493934156419_4417447663298142059_o.jpg128490173_10221500205233192_7312276726612374270_o.jpg128759869_10221508314595921_7446692053866882404_o.jpg123024487_974904496326638_6991823988095485551_n.jpg123914522_10221337088915386_9022089288161836592_n.jpg123960967_10221337089195393_7391919785413199034_n.jpg124341469_10221360176452560_2730762676603058089_n.jpg125763407_10221407552196924_5554998686201568044_o.jpg
