SJScrambler - Getting Started

I am trying to clean out the shop... I think tearing down Jeeps is done for me for a while now... I have a ton of parts and my body just can't take it right now.

I have another "project" though that is going to be making its debut shortly.

It does not need any work persey outside of some cosmetic updates, tires, etc. but that goes first after the Jeeps are torn down so I can use it this summer... weather is finally starting to turn nice.

So... the National Scramble is in PA at Rausch Creek next year. Just sayin' ;)
Hell yeah! What are the dates? Under 2 hours from me. Now I HAVE a deadline to get my Scrambler going that I HAVE to meet.:bacon::headbang::cheers:

Failed emissions, needs new O2 sensors and a new gas cap... got some new tires for her as well.
Replaced the front speakers and the sub as they were all dried out... very fun so far.

Only picture I had, will take more when I get her outside.

I won't clutter up the thread with this Jeep, but wanted to update the other project has taken a side seat so I can get this up and running to enjoy this summer.

And the hits just keep on coming! Either you live in a CJ gold mine or your scrounging skills are exceptional. Nice find.

Well this was on the Cape... and driving to said Cape is NOT what you want to do from about Memorial Day until Labor Day.
I got up super early, headed out with a trailer, made three stops along the way and came back... took about 10 hours round trip, but got to see a fellow forum member and pick up the MudFlaps he(Alex) got me, sot hat was great.

It was a long day, but it has a lot of good parts in it... 1986 Laredo and the PO removed the body and gas tank... the tailgate was trashed before I got there unfortunately and the grille shell was repurposed, but it has a tilt column, all Laredo parts, had the rear seat, some other bits/pieces.

All good!

Shouldn't it have a D44 rear axle, or did not all '86s get those?

Glad you like the mudflaps, and happy to pick them up for you. Nice to meet fellow forum members off of cyberspace and in real life, something I wish I had the opportunity to do more often. Wished we'd had longer to talk Jeeps. Maybe next time.

That reminds me, I've got a conference in Providence again this fall. Nows the time to plan a meet up with you and Craig! I might feel like a road trip up to Ben and Jerry's again.

Count me in.
