Considering you have all/most of the ICE driveline, I'd wait until costs come down. It would make for an awesome rig but its pricey...

Yeah, but if you're going to do that you have to get two to make it AWD, plus the programming for making the AWD play nice, plus recalibrating the suspension for the increase of unsprung weight, plus the center chassis becomes the best place for batteries at that point so you're in a whole new chassis as well.....you might as well just drop a Jeep tub on a Tesla glider at that point. I still see the merit for e-conversion to a conventional longitudinal setup for a classic 4x4. It may not be the most logical setup, but seems most straightforward.
Honestly, the hybrid auto transmission and smaller ICE would be my go to for best of both worlds. But not exactly cheap nor simple...

So, things have been busy around here... finally got approval to move into the new shop and what happens? Scrambler on the trailer.
Finally realized my idea/dream of saving my body and sanity to come home loaded... and then un-load it into the garage.
and then this happened...
So, moved some stuff around and now the blue 7 is in position on the lift to be taken apart... the Scrambler is not going to be taken apart (for now)... I want to get it running first and do a few things. Body looks nice, but is rough and I have to evaluate the frame.
Been a busy few months... more setup and such... and all the wake I left behind has to be cleaned up and fixed, but getting there.
Been a very HOT summer, so that makes things a bit more challenging.

Forgot one pic... saw this coming back with the Scrambler... 55 wagon behind the RV.
Traffic was unlike anything I have seen in quite some time.
It is good that eveyrone is getting back out there, but they just seem to be traveling through MA to get to NH and VT

I went as big as I could given the limitations of the land/setbacks to the property line... if money were no object, I would have gotten a storage space, torn it all down and built one gigantic structure... but I am not complaining... I feel very fortunate I was able to do this over the last year and now looking forward to getting my future endeavours going.Are you at the point yet wishing you had doubled the size of the garage ? Wish mine was triple the size, a 1 Jeeper, but no room to expand.

Wow Craig! Your new workshop is awesome. I hope I can get to see it one of these days. I really like the detail of license plates as top molding. And its seems you have a fleet of jeeps again, so much for taking a break from dragging stuff home. Most importantly, where is the truck build hiding? ???

Look to the right... the truck build is on top of the 4 post lift... the 401 Scrambler is under that.

Let me know when you are in the area, I can give you the tour... a couple people have seen it, but not with the new 2 post lift installed and new Jeeps in the shop.
Currently working on getting all the stuff out of the old shop and converting that over to alternative use space.

Thanks CB, I will definitely take you up on the tour of the new space. It does look impressively expanded from your previous garage(s) combined size. All the better to tear down parts Jeeps I guess! Hoping to be up that way in the fall.

I was there a month ago when the first row of license plates was going up...and other things were moving around...had a great day of swapping parts and talking shop. seeing the dream realized.. cheers Bro!
