Sounds like you guys are doing a great job!

I just hope we will have a central place to meet in the evenings like the tent at Hot Springs. The lack of a place such as this at Moab was a big minus for the 2006 event. The commaradie experienced watching the pictures and videos of the day was the highlight of the weekend!

This sounds like a great idea!

I'm assuming they used a TV/monitor and some way to plug the cameras in to display on the monitor?

That would be sweet.

I can not rattle off all of the equipment it took but it included a lap top and projector onto a sheet hung from a wall of the tent. Lee Smith (FELNTPSY) provided much (if not all) of the equipment for the 2005 event.

Last week I was trying to remember why June 23 sounded so familiar, NOW I remember. Guess I'll have to try again next year, but since I just got 6 tickets for RUSH on June 23rd looks like I'll be in Virginia at Nissan Pavilion that day. Wish I could make it, but seen Geddy and the boys every tour since '85 at least once, can't miss this one. Who knows how long those old fellas will keep going?!?!? Have fun Scramblin' everybody...

Hey, the Stones are still going.

No go for me, one of the groomsmen from my wedding is getting married this same weekend. :banghead: Word about it only came a couple weeks ago and I put off the decision almost as long as I possibly could, but I have to do the right thing as he'll (hopefully) only get married once.

I'll try to substitute Camp Jeep, pathetic replacement (I can look forward to it though), but it's all I have.

Maybe you can get them to compromise and have the wedding in eastern TN.....:D

From a post by BigWalton back on page 3 when I mentioned not going:

Eric, you HAVE to go to this one... don't make me beat some sense into you this weekend!

Seriously, I don't think you'll ever see one closer to us than this...

So you are going to dissappoint 50 "family" members that show up to Windrock, plus miss a wheelin trip just for the opportunity to go to a wedding and get all dressed up? Plus, I think the commitment to go to the National was made long before the plan for a the wedding was every mentioned so the National should trump the wedding.

That said, we each must do what we THINK is best.

Actually, I think BW is just scared to try and follow me again with Stephanie "spotting" him. :D

I can bring a projector and laptop for the event, but I'm not sure about the tent .

I agree that seeing pictures from the day was a great idea, and unless Lee comes this year, I'll try to fill his shoes.

Everyone bring their digital camera, I'll supply the memory card reader!

The projector and laptop for displaying pics will be great and solves one of the problems I was trying to resolve. The Event committee already has a photography and photo collection worked out, so it'll just be a matter putting those on your laptop. But, bring your card reader too just in case.

If this guy wasn't IN my wedding, I'd completely pass. He was there for me in mine and even though I'm not actually in his (10 years later, that's no biggie) this is one of the very very few things that I will have to pass for.

All of you know that this is killing me, I love Windrock too... :banghead:

As for the "spotting", you got me, I'm totally skeeeered
