SOA National for 2007...

Craig, If you, Kara and the girls come down to my house and spend the night before, you can help me load mine up on the trailer and convoy on down. Remember a lot of the parts on mine came from you.:D
Don

Windrock Here I Come

I'm planning on being there! Once again the Kansas Scramblers will make a strong showing! :D

We'll see how strong you are! LOL:D Look foward to seeing ya Phil! Get ready for a GREAT time!

I believe the Kansas Scramblers have led attendance by State for every National event so far.
Maybe we should issue a challenge for another state to try and knock us off this year! Any takers?

How about we just strive to get at least one scrambler from each state to show up! I'll represent SC this year.

NC will be covered. I think VA may leave everyone in the dust on this one.

That Hawaiian Scrambler will have a HECK of a drive. That'd be one seriously impressive snorkel!

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about!

Thanks Don. I'll keep this in mind. I'm not sure if I'll be coming solo, or with the whole family yet, though.

Craig

The Scrangler and miss Ebby will be there. I don,t think anybody can overtake the "kansasKrew". Challenge is on!!!!

Just for you BW, we are moving our vacation to May. After all, been to Yellowstone in Sep 2000 and June 2005 so we haven't seen it with snow yet like we will see in May. An additional benefit to moving it to May is I get four full weeks to make the trip versus 3-1/3.

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about!

Also, if you read the other post, you'll see that I never said I wasn't coming, nor that the Scrambler wasn't coming, just that I wouldn't be home til late June (because of attending the national) and that I wouldn't be hauling the Scrambler as I was going to have it delivered to Oak Ridge.

Hmmm. Just how many Scrambler owners are there in Kansas????

And are you considering numbers of Scramblers or numbers of owners?

If number of owners, do family members count?

We gotta have details on this challenge, you see, before the gauntlet that Kansas dropped gets picked up by Virginia. I think we can meet that challenge, but I just want to be sure what exactly we are talking about. (and just how many Virginians I have to annoy and cajole and bribe...)

I say we can definitely have more Scramblers or owners there than Kansas.

What say you, Virginians???

I'm not giving out any additional information, but i have personally wheeled with about 10 other Scramblers from Kansas. And i know of more...;)

Intresting

I will have to make a side bet on this one. Who has the most Scramblers?

Kansas

Virginia

Hmmmmmm Good match up I think.

Regarding Kansas....

The Adams family fleet alone will outnumber any other state!:D

Jason, whats the number up to now?:)

I think it should be - you have to attend and register your Scrambler or Scramblers for the National event to be counted. Total number of Scramblers from whichever state will have bragging rights.

Dad and I have 6 Scramblers counting the Postal (and always looking for more). We will only take 2 to the National unless we win the lottery and buy a semi and a car hauler to bring the rest. So we would only count as 2 for Kansas.

Gotta love it!

Count "MLC" in as a Kansas entry. Hope June is not like today as we have ice coating from last night with a 3-5" snow fall on top today.

Since all the Virginians are being very very quiet. I might want to shut up now. :D :D

But, of course, I won't. :p

We had 13 Scramblers at Oak Ridge, although some of those were from out of state. And there were several from Virginia that didn't make it there. (Like one person who doesn't "wheel" their Scrambler and instead brings a YJ to the trail. ) Heck, there's about four of 'em here in Tidewater that don't even get on this board - but they probably wouldn't come to Wind Rock either. :( How crazy is that?

Sounds like it would be a close count, if Virginians would get moving and get their rigs running.

I'd feel better if some others would post up here. I feel like Custer at Little Big Horn. :o

Nebraska Scramblers?

I wheeled one Saturday with about 3 Scramblers from Nebraska, from what i've been told there are several more up there too. The guys i was with weren't even on this forum if i remember right. Maybe they should get in this challenge too.
In fact, maybe the SOA should sweeten the pot a little with a nice prize for the state with the most CJ 8s :D

They could have a separate raffle for one of the nicer prizes and only those from the state with the most attendees can participate ;)
