"I'd feel better if some others would post up here. I feel like Custer at Little Big Horn. "

So are you the Army or the Indians?

Might be quite. But I am looking to try and make th is one.

I'll post up just to make you feel better, but it is fun to see you hangin it out there with no support. Besides we all know the below is true...:D

Since all the Virginians are being very very quiet. I might want to shut up now. :D :D

But, of course, I won't. :p

If at all possible we will be making it to this.

They could have a separate raffle for one of the nicer prizes and only those from the state with the most attendees can participate ;)

I do like this idea...

this is getting very competitive - I think I need to expend some domestic poltical capital and join the Va contingent. John - if anything breaks between now and then, is the LJ permitted?

HEY RUSTY...Yes, you could bring the LJ. Last year we had XJ, YJ, TJ, Bronco all mixed in. The important thing is SHOW UP. Now you've got me thinking more about the early June Jeep Jamboree.

Rusty, It is good to hear from you...you are welcome to bring anything, but of course we would love to see your scrambler.

Wow...you posted on here, GOOD for you! Yes, bring either or both.

Of course the LJ is permitted on the trails... :)

But it won't count in the competition with Kansas - only Scramblers will count, registered and at the event.

SO you better make sure that thing is runnin', Rusty!!! :D

At the very least, tow it down! Nobody said they had to be running! :p

If anything breaks between now and then, just call for a wrenching party. ;)

I talked to John and he said NO! He did however say that I could bring your LJ so send me the title and get it over with. Brittany said you can ride in the back if need be!:D

I may go Mike! I might have to borrow Wildturkeys spare 8 unless they let me bring the YJ.

So does that count as another Va. Scrambler since it is titled in Va?

If so maybe I will tow and extra body or two to sell at the Meet.

I just HAD to go ahead & read through this thread, didn't I...?!?!?!

Even in my current 'funk' (unfortunately deeper today than usual :o ), you all were able to get my blood aflowin' for this event.

Therefore, in light of proximity and 'long-range' date, I intend to come... w/ - God willin' - my 'Crew of 4' in-tow. (I'll put 'can't-be-soon-enough :( -ex' on notice of dates ASAP; that'aways she can't scuttle plans w/ some contrived 'scheduling conflict' . I'll get the dates court-ordered if I have to. )

Mucho to do before now & then... but maybe the work will be the trick to kick-start me & get me outa my funk. Leastways, I hope so - this is the pits.

First off, need to get our trail Scrambler (& requisite tools) back to VA... after CBRogers so generously hauled it up there for me. (Thanks again Carl! :) ...if only I had had the benefit of what the future held for us. [sigh].) Then, GOTTA build a cage; get the engine replaced, if not rebuilt; and replace tires. Oh yea, fix the radiator that got 'holed' during last wheelin' activity (Oak Ridge '05).

Ted W: I'll try to get the mosquito (& lung) killin' engine 'fixed' just for you! :D

FWIW: '07 National will be a primary topic for today's visitation... to test waters (expecting them to be very anxious to go); get them thinkin' "stand-by for some Jeep wrenchin' @ Daddy's house" (the guardian ad litem can "pound sand"; and get 'em talking about 'Jeep wheelin' w/ Daddy again' (will drive their mother nutz hehe :p ).

Thanks for the motivating thread guys... typing up this post, I feel 500% better already! REALLY! :)

Assistance request: If anyone knows of an empty trailer coming south from OH area to VA area, pls let me know. Nonetheless, I've been wanting to get our tow rig down here for general hauling use, so I may try to find a ride north so I can drive it down pulling our Scrambler (vice my DD) back down here to VA.

Uh-oh...

Carl

... mine's titled in Ohio. And... I don't see much sense in 'wasting' the $$ to re-titling in VA, nor paying personal property tax thereon. :(

How about if it is garaged in VA (under insurance policy), will that count as a VA Scrambler for 'nose-counting' purposes?

If so maybe I will tow and extra body or two to sell at the Meet.

Shhhhh.... Quiet Carl!! Don't suggest that! :U Truck's liable to show up w/ all his 'spares' too!

I would love to go and am gonna try like hell to have this happen....Any other New Englanders thinking about taking the ride???

Shoot Jerry, If Carl, I and you put all our spares in 1 spot we could probably build a couple or more Scramblers.

Glad to hear you are thinking about coming, that would be awesome.

If you can't get yours down here, you are welcome to help me get mine done and then I will have 2 trail rigs and you can drive one of them at nationals.

I would like to go to this. Never been to a "Jeep event" before and I think I would be in heaven if surrounded by Scramblers. I'm coming from Iowa so there is another state representing. Is there an official sign up sheet somewhere or do I just show up?

P.S. This gives me an excuse to finally get a locker. :D
