Speedo cable length w/ automatic

I’m looking for the part number or length of the speedometer cable for a 258/TF999 Scrambler. It’s probably the same one as a CJ-7, but I haven’t been able to find it. Anyone know it or have it?

Are the auto cables longer than manual transmission version? My stock T5 cable worked when I swapped in AX15 that was longer with plenty of slack still?

The ones I’ve seen listed say manual transmission, so I figured there’s another one for automatic. I’m not really sure.

According to the internet, a Jeep T5 cases is about 14.5" long, the 999 with tail housing is about 23".

Any idea what they are wanting for a new cable, ball park ? I get a fluctuating speed of about 10 mph going highway speeds and I’m thinking the cable might be the problem.

I think is was $30 last time I bought one, but that was over 5 years ago. I know it was well under $100.

Their prices are good and they make the cables in house. Shipping is quick too.

When I swapped my T5 for a TF999, I used the T5 cable and it worked fine.
