Ok so for sure there are kinds of ways to get a sport or permanent cage under our Half Cabs... Of course!

But I'm wondering if the is an alternative that any of you have come up with just to have something to attach cloth/soft grab handles to, to help get in. If you have done it of course pictures please.

👀
So just that function, basically? Can't say that I've seen anything like that, so I'm curious to see anything like that.

I’ve got the Rockhard bolt-in cage with both soft handles and it’s hard ones.

Correct Eric... As I said I know the RockHard and of course permanent cages are out there. I figured it was a long shot anyway. Thought maybe some one had made something. Thanks for responding guys.

John do you use full hard doors with yours from RockHard?

Possibly if your had a YJ windshield/frame and used the factory bar from the windshield to a bracket that attached to the should belt mount(if you had one). Obviously that bracket would need to be custom made and beefy enough to support the weight.

Interesting idea. That's where I couldn't sort anything out beyond ending up with drilled holes in the top...

Same Eric... I'll drill a hole or two if its necessary on the tub but for sure not on the top!

Yes, I use my full, OEM doors and a set of YJ half doors with no fit issues. Both work interchangeably.

Did you have to modify the full doors at all to work? The guy at Rockhard tells me there is modification needed.

I have the same Rock Hard Cage as John. OEM full steel doors and OEM 1/2 hard top/1/2 soft top fit with no modifications needed.

That's exactly what I did. The YJ roll bar and cage height will fit a Postal top but with the fiberglass GR8TOP I had to shorten it by an inch or two where it bolts to the floor. It also allowed me to have the YJ shoulder seatbetls for passengers.

Like Ray said, the doors work fine with no mods at all. No idea what that guy is talking about.

I have been wondering how difficulty it would be to use the hoop of a YJ cage with the factory half cab. It looks like it lays back to far, but didn't think about it being to tall. I would love to get the windshield bar and seat belt attachment in the cab.

The Rock Hard in cab cage moves the upper seat belt mounting point to the cage, inside the cab.
