Sunny Delight - now Shelly 2.0

Today was a productive day. Got the console installed as well as another windshield pull. I’m thinking one final “tweak” pull in a few days and it’ll be done. Next step would be installing the full soft top.

I also got all the seat brackets and sliders cleaned up and painted ready for install

The windshield is in its final resting spot! Patience is key with these pulls. Tomorrow I hope to get the full soft top installed while I still have the heat on my side for stretching purposes

I also got around to installing the rear fixed seat and passenger seat. Rugged Ridge has come out with what they call “Factory Look” reclining front seats. I also picked up a matching rear seat. I can say this. The seats are comfortable for what they are. I have no complaints about the rear. The front seats also recline which was a big plus for me and is comfortable.

However I do feel they sit higher than the originals. Especially since I added a slider to the seat. For me and my family this really won’t be a big deal but for those folks taller than me (5’9”) it might get a little tight.

I’ll get better pics soon

A tilt column will help.
