Survivor Project

Wow, I can’t get over how nice this one is. Incredible! Thanks for sharing this gem with us.

I read this a couple of days ago and had to come back and read it again. I hope you take a ton of pics and save them for the guys that do nut and bolt resto's cause this one would be an excellent reference. Congrads, good luck and thank you for sharing!

Don't be afraid to post more pics every now and then.

It’s a great jeep, wish new owners well

Hopefully whoever buys it shows up here so we can continue to gawk!

I wonder how much it is was bought for from the original owners family?

Feel like this was the OPs plan all along - to get some expert feedback on what he had then set a price. Nothing wrong with that I guess. Just interesting that it wasn’t offered for sale here first

Will be interesting to see if the OP shows back up here

I hope he does, with a different Scrambler. He seemed excited about fixing it up at first, then as is became clear what a rarity he had, he probably became afraid to touch it.

If I were in his shoes, I'd cash out to someone who wanted a museum piece, and then I'd buy a nice driver/resto-mod for myself for half the price.

An unconfirmed source told me it “sold” for $37,500 and that Someone is on the way. If and when money changes hands then it will be confirmed. I do believe the source in that agreed price being accurate tho.

Inside a barn or outside building. Cj sitting on a concrete floor inside a metal industrial, unheated, cold floor, damp high humidity causes water to condense on and in metal frame. Starts surface rust. Ask how I know.
