More specifically; this is what's finally off my workbench...

Started with a MORE Bulletproof motor mount and modified it to fit my application. Hopefully will hold together better..

Right now it is just clean the dirt off, there are some pits/stains/dirt blobs stuck on there, so some 220 grit to knock all that down, then I run it over with some steel wool just to get it all down to where it is "smooth".
Next up will be wetsanding with 600/800/1200/1500/2000/2500 and then hit it with the polishing ball.

It takes 5-6 hours or so per wheel, so it takes a while to get them back to looking like what is on my wifes Jeep... but the nicer they look, the more $$$ they bring.

And for the record, I am the one sewing not Connie.

My Saginaw is up in the vice. Had the 30degrees of free play in the CJ10 steering box. Bit of a nightmare going back and forth to the inspection centre. Figured I'd better do as the FSM says and take the box out to adjust it. The big but was kinda scaled on to the adjusting plug and it has been butchered. Cold chisel marks everywhere and clearly it has been "adjusted" on the vehicle using a pin punch and big BFH.
Anyways I'll get some seals to morrow and see how I go gittin er done

All fixed and back in the truck. What a difference some adjusting makes.

Your tool cabinet looks like the side of my fridge plus a bunch of rockauto magnets.

"Cw05 that's not a breaker bar...that's a damn pipe!" said like in Gone in Sixty Seconds......"Kip that's not a tool....that's a damn brick!"
