What's on your Work Bench?

This is what is on there

What on earth did you treat the seats and dash with!!!???! Look killah!

They first one came apart 90% pretty easily... where it meets up to the step up to the rear bed area in front of the wheel house is proving to be a PITA the way they spot welded it and then overlapped and welded it.
The rest came out pretty good.

Have to finish up this one and then work on the other one.

That looked like it was a nice tub at one time..

I will say that the insides of these are painted/coated with something that definitely kept the rust at bay... these came off of Jeeps in PA as well, so further down from where I am, but still not in a "rust free" zone.
My guess is the tub/Jeep got hit somewhere else and they were able to salvage these pieces.

Just finished phase one of this project. My new ice fishing sled. Locks, it's light, it pulls 100x easier than those big plastic sleds, and I can sit on it. Just a kobalt tool box, a pressure treated 2x4, 16 bolts, 8 screws and 2 cross country skis. Probably 15 minutes invested so far. Going to add some hooks for my auger, some rod holders, led lighting and who knows what else.

Why would you fish for ice? It comes right out of the refrigerator door down here.

Better put a pad on top sitting on that AL will suck the heat right out of you.

I've got one of the clamp on boat swivel seats. It's also getting auxiliary lights, a wind break, a Coleman grill that swings out from under the toolbox, and maybe a stripper pole.

Do they only strip down to the base layer up there?

Not "on" my workbench. But my wife got me a collapsing workbench so that I can do work, and she can still park in our small Northern Va suburban garage. It also means that I will have to clean off the surface after each use so that she can park in the garage.

Supposed to be able to hold 110 lbs. i am going to use a closet rod with rubber ends to help support it when in use.
