What's on your Work Bench?

It is actually a very difficult thing to do... for years I had it all cluttered and I could never work. Now at the end of the day, grab a beer and clean off what is on there so there is at least 70-80% (if not more) showing clean and the next day starts a lot better when you can lay stuff down on it and get right to work.

It took YEARS for me to get to that point, I guess you get slightly wiser as you get older ;)

I'm in the town of Zourate in the middle of the Sahara. We're building one of our electric shovels here at the iron ore mines. Security is fine, no problems but the problems with the build are mounting. I'm hoping to get out of here on the 19th, fly through Casablanca, get drunk and eat good food (no booze, dry country and all they serve is chicken) and then head back. I hit 1K status on UA this year again--I think you trade 5 years of your life for this benefit and they still screw you on seating!

Anyone know of any jobs in Montana? Let me know--even in the Dakotas..... I would trade my first born if I had one (that I knew of) for a place where cold beer was on tap at the end of the day!

we build bigger garages then fill them up then big bigger garages then fill them up and so on.....

I knew I should have done 60x40 instead of 40x30... it is too full now!

I am going to have to build an addition at some point, but this time, I put a bathroom in it, probably a shower as well as some days I feel bad traipsing through the house all filthy just to take a shower. Then it is a viable living option when I get kicked out :)

60x40 i wish...... i was watching those home buying tv show with the twin brothers last night and this guy was looking for at house that had a 3 garage with full bath and huge work area addition on the side and said its nice but its a little to small... i said some nasty words at the tv!!! the house was 3800sf for under 200k 10 years old... i cryed... thats like a 1mil and up where i am......

Noticed you got a new fridge under the bench. Gut to have the important stuff close at hand.
 
Yeah it is good to have a fridge in the garage, but I only do cans out in the garage... I have knocked over way too many bottles with swinging cords or long tools... cans take a beating better :)

Yep paint booth getting ready to do some work on my off road trailer, coat it with bed liner completely. Primer my CJ 6 body and do some sound and heat coating and cover inside and bottom with bed liner.
 
After the Holidays Im sure theres stuff back on the bench. I took a page out of Certifiables book , cleaned up and started fresh. My knee is finally healed up and I finally got to get after my siezed axle shaft ujoint.
