Yup, those are the plates, right next to the workbench!
Dropped the wheels off this morning at Fedex... on their way out west!

You heard it here first... I will NEVER do another set of these (unless pre-paid) ;)

cb

Yes, but it wasn't capitalized... actually in all honesty shelling out that kind of cash and not getting any of the profit from it for 6 months makes it less apealing.
Each set I have done has taken longer and longer to get the returns from it.
You do six sets and really the last set is where you make the money... somewhere in the 5th set is where you break even.
The first sets years ago sold immediately, then it slowed and now it is like a 6 month turn around.

Most people want 15x8's, but those are more expensive to come by in nice shape and then ultimately you would have to charge more in the end.

So, I will take pre-paid requests and when 3 people pay up front, I can assist in doing it, but outside of that, laying out cash to do it doesn't make much sense.
I need to buy another Jeep soon and need that $$$$, unless someone buys the UK Jeep first, then the $$$ aspect of it alleviates a bit.

Have you put the uk on ebay? Or hemmings? Looks like you have to advertise more..

Yeah, it is going on eBay in a few weeks.
I want to get it out, clean it up, finish up a few loose odds/ends then sell it.

You mean to tell me you are supposed to SELL the Jeeps when the build is completed (did not say when Jeep is done) ?

On my picnic table bench on Friday, the M715 windshield frame is getting some bulge repairs from way back when it was subjected to Michigan temps and water froze inside it, and a new cowl seal.

Look what I got in the mail today.
CB I can't thank you enough for doing something so thoughtful for me. It is true, Karma does exist because just this morning I sent my last set of side boards out as a gift to another member for all the help he has given me over the years. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. BTW you just about nailed the color. I will hang this right between the two hoods on my shop wall.
Now I understand why you do this.

And I thought that was your signature texture.
PS... this is what CB wrote of the back of the plate.
