Wide tires / flares

What do others do when they run wide tires ? My stock CJ flares aren't wide enough, I've tried the TJ rears and they do not fit either. I"ve actually got some Xenon CJ-7 flares and the front works great, but not the rears.
I don't want to cut any sheet metal either just to make some fit.
Just wondering.
Thanks.

I run an old set of steel horse 6" wide TJ flares, one hint on the TJ rears, run the right on the left side and left side on the right and they will fit better,or you can spend some more bucks and use wide YJ flares they fit the rear of the Scrambler a little better

Actually that pix looks pretty good to me. Is that running TJ's R & L reversed ? Or is that wide YJ's you're using ? Did you get by without cutting the sheet metal ?

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!

Oh man, sorry, asking that of Mules is about... no it definitely is, the funniest thing I've read on this board ever.

No offense...

The flares did look great on there back then (JC, post the current "after" pic ;) )

They are TJs reversed...........i did trim just a little sheet metal at the bottom..........here is a hint the mounting surface on the back of the flare needs to be trimed down to about 1" so they will fit flat and mount them just above the factory raised metal fender lip

Yeah I put YJ front fender on it but they will fit Cj fender too. I first sized them up the CJ fenders bt my CJ fender where pretty mangled. So, I found some used YJ fenders.
