Huh? What do you mean?
SUA - Spring Under Axle

Heh, yeah, I'm well aware of that acronymSUA - Spring Under Axle

What I mean is the commnet, not much support? Seems like there's a ton of support, lots of us think that's the best way to go.

That bolt on kit scares the crap out of me personally.
Thanks BigW, I just should have understood what you were saying.
Anyway, I'm not trying to thread jack but I always thought body lifts were a bad idea cause they raised the center of gravity. However they allow for bigger tires while keeping the frame lower and that would keep the COG lower.
not tryin to be a smart a** but aren't all kits bolt on? Just would like some input before I buy a lift kit.
Yeah, but SUA kits put different springs in the same place as stock, you're not adding much anything new other than the springs.not tryin to be a smart a** but aren't all kits bolt on? Just would like some input before I buy a lift kit.

SOA you have to completely relocate where the spring mounts to the axle (the spring perch). This is a VERY heavily stressed/loaded component. In a SUA lift, the spring perch is welded to the axle from the factory and you reuse it. That bolt-on SOA kit is relocating the perch by bolting it onto the axle. That's bad news to me.
This is just spooky too:
