You are making me so jealous tight now. I miss surfing. And even when I did it was east coast

For a rack system take a look at what Kimsinva (sp?) did. But it may not work as you have back seat passengers. Have fun for me.

The older two kids went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, so Suzanne and I decided to make the 15 minute trip over to the beach w/ the 2yr old. :smokin:

Nothing like cruisin' the Pacific Coast Highway on a beautiful day in the Scrambler...

Nice beach blanket!

Well it was a busy weekend for the Scrambler. Spent Sat. Morning walking a pick and pull and pulled some seats to swap into the Scrambler. Got my gear install kits delivered. Then got a call that the used T5 I got was pulled and ready for pickup so Sunday I drove over and picked it up. Spent a few minutes after work scraping grease and trying to clean it some.

Great pictures and love the Jeep beach towels... Where did you find those?

Spent some time the last few days sandblasting.
This is all I have to show for it so far...

And some pieces for the swing out tire rack

What grit blasting media are people using?

Not today, but last week I was driving home from work. It was one of the times that the alternator was pumping out 14.7VDC so I cranked the anemic heater up. State Route 33 has a few nasty expansion strip/repair lines across it that really bounce you around in a glorified log wagon. After the last one I heard a change in tone for a few seconds before my heater duct horked up a big ole mouse nest. Now, meeces don't scare me, but at 65 mph you WILL take a couple nervous "move your feet around just to make sure" glances. No meece, but once this cold lets up I think I may look into pulling the heater and giving it a scrubbing, along with upgrading that poor motor. I thought I'd gotten rid of all the mouse remnants too...
