Saw one of these is a junkyard once about 18 years ago. They had probably 1 or more of every jeep made(never saw a CJ10 there though) Had a FJ, panel wagons, FC's. It's gone now, heard a nearby junkyard bought it and crushed most things in it. There was a Jeepster with an 18" tree were there would normally be an engine. Echert-Trent was the place, anybody remember it in Ferndale, Pa. I was told it was first Jeep dealership on the east coast.

I was wearing eye protection. That now has a nice little scratch right in line with the laceration. I have already ordered a face shield.
Case in point... Almost cut off my thumb at work this morning. Doc thinks I won't lose feeling or muscular control, but it went through a tendon down to the bone.

More pics tomorrow when I get a rewrap and a new splint. Em joked it should've been my middle finger, then at least I'd have an excuse 😇

Wow. That looks really bad. Good luck with that. What were you doing?

Of all the dangerous things I come across in my job, I was just cleaning a large glass flask. It had a crack in it, and for whatever reason just exploded in my hand.

Experieance!

Quite a bit of experience in this photo: Jake White (White SOA Raffle Scrambler), Ken Adams (Black Larado), MrBeep (Red), Chipster1990, Ken Waters, Kevin Sullivan, "Bobcat" Don Briney, and Brad Meaure in Yellow "Tail Gunner".

Picked these up at a garage sale the other day. I can use the tires on the pickup, and the wheels fit the cj-5 but the caps will not clear the front hubs.

You can swap 5 bolt hubs from an 82-86 and use the caps. The 6 bolt hubs are a little stronger, but I've never had issues with my Warn or Superwinch 5 bolt hubs, and both work with the factory center caps.

I'm actually dropping a new Dana 30 with a Lock Right in the front of the tan CJ-7 right now. The previous owner put 6 bolt hubs on the axle, so I'm going to have to pull my old 5 bolt hubs and rotors off and swap them so I can use my center caps.

It's not that the hubs are weak, but the bolts loosen or fall out. At the National this past weekend, I saw one broke hub due to loose bolts shearing off in the hub, and another hub that had bolts fall out:shrug:
