I should mention this last parts hauls ended me up with 3 full sets of caps 1 set nice 1 medium 1 so so and another set that I got from a certain hot sauce member 😀 [emoji481]

New to my work bench. My 1964 Remington 700. Was 243 now it's a 260 with a varmint contour 26" 1:8" twist stainless hart match barrel. The stock is a factory Remington Vls.
 
I spent several hours last night removing material from the inletting and barrel channel then giving it a full bedding job. Tonight I finish tuning the trigger and then final assembly I hope. Waiting on dies, brass, and the weather now. I'm dropping off my next rifle to get a barrel on Monday. Which will become an 1800$ win mag. But still about 1000 cheaper than Remington custom shop quoted me.
 
Most of you know I dropped a few bucks on my Stump Jumper Scrambler but it's only a drop in the bucket to my investment in guns, ammo and optics over the last 40 years. Here are some.

If I dropped as much money in my 8 as I do my guns I'd be done by now lol. I've got a few more antiques I'd like for my collection and everything else is going to be custom builds

I show you some of mine, but they were lost in that canoeing accident....:shrug:
