Got some paint laid down yesterday. Not the big red scrambler anymore 8-). It will get another coat on it after everything is assembled.

I was busy yesterday. Got some new toys for brake lines. front driveshaft was a little to close to the crossmember, so I notched that. Welded on ford shock towers, and burned in the motor mounts. I also got the gas tank pulled out and cleaned.
Worked on fuel lines and transmission lines.

It was a pretty productive day, and then it went totally sideways o_O:P. Picked up a running driving 82 cj7. Needs a couple little things. Figure I can get those worked out and then wheel it in a couple weeks at Oakridge. After that it will probably find a new home.

That's a "big honkin'" front bumper on the new 7! Looking at your work I think we can all say you could quit your day job and do nothing but this. Awsome all the way around!

Thanks for the complement! Funny you should say it though. Last week I got a call from a reputable Jeep shop that’s been around just over ten years and was made an offer.

Yeah, bumper has to go ?

Not as much got done yesterday. Spend most of the day running around town tracking parts that I needed.
But I did get the gas tank beefed up.

Got the daystar bump stops started. Still need to drill some holes for those. Bushing are in the new spring ready to go on.
Gas tank cleaned out and installed.
Finished the fuel supply and return lines.
Also put in a the fuel tank vent and bent up the rear brake line.
Got a few more small things, but the body can go back on and get ready for final paint.

Been slacking for a couple weeks. Got a break in the weather. Finally stopped raining for long enough to spray some paint on the underneath body and back of the rear quarters, rockers.
